UNIT 5: write about the history of CHANEL

Chanel got this name because of her brand’s designer was called Coco Chanel. The people started wearing her hats and a few years later her clothes because she started to have relationships with very famous and rich people and also because her designs made a fashion revolution. This made Coco famous and with Balsan and Capel’s help (friends) she became the fashionest woman. Chanel makes “haute-couture”, ready-to-wear, perfume, jewellery and accessories. All of those products are made with exclusive and high quality things.

This brand became popular because famous people started wearing it in public shows and the aristocratic people wanted to wear like them so they bought the clothes.
These days, Chanel is popular all over the world. The products are quite expensive and they are produced in an elegant, sophisticated and original styles keeping the main objective: being like Coco’s style.
